Madurai known as the 'Athens of the East'. Madurai is the oldest city in Tamil Nadu and was home to the ancient Tamil Sangam, the literary conclave that produced the first epic, Silappathikaram. Today, it is known to produce the best harvests of jasmine flowers. One cannot ignore mention of the Meenakshi Temple, which is as well known for its architectural splendor as also a shelter, which inspired a thousand arts.
Rameswaram is known for one of India's most venerated and most visited Shiva shrines, dedicated to Sri Ramanathaswamy. It is so intimately associated with the life of Sri Ram that both Saivites and Vaishnavites consider every grain of Rameswaram's sand very sacred. There is a traditional belief among the Hindus that a pilgrimage to Kashi will be complete only after a visit to Rameswararn, also hailed as "Banaras of the South". DAY 01: ARRIVAL MADURAI
Arrival at Madurai, Check – in at hotel.
Later Darshan at Meenakshi Temple, visit the Ayiram Kal Mandapam, Gandhi Museum< Tirumalai Nayakar Mahal.
Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 02: MADURAI - RAMESHWARAM
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Rameshwaram.
Rameshwaram is an island situated on the tip of the Indian peninsula. The city is also an important south India pilgrimage center of the Indians. It is the place from where Lord Rama had built a bridge across the sea to rescue his consort Sita.This is the place where Rama worshipped Lord Shiva to cleanse away the sin of Ravana. Both the Vaishnavites and Shaivites visit this pilgrimage city. The main places of visit are the Pamban Bridge, Dhanushkodi. Back to hotel.

DAY 03: RAMESHWARAM
Day at leisure for Activities in Temple and Local sightseeing - Dharushkodi, Mandapam, Pamban Bridge, Beach etc

DAY 04: RAMESHWARAM – MADURAI
After breakfast proceed to madurai. Check in & then visit, Meenakshi Temple, Gandhi Museum, Tirumala nayaka Palace, Tiruparankundram, Azhargar Koil. Back to the hotel

DAY 05: MADURAI DEP
After breakfast check Out & Shopping. You will be droped to the Airport / railway Station for your return with fond memories
